I am all settled

 I made it safely! :)
The plane ride was really not all that bad.
I am settled in my room and I am adjusted to the time difference for the most part.
My room has an amazing view of Seoul and I love looking out the window each morning.
I am seen SO busy this past week.
I arrived in Seoul on Monday, checked into my dorm and bought my first Korean Dish.
It was called Buscan( I believe, but don't take my word on the spelling).
I got back to my room and unpacked.

The following day Megan( from UNCG) and I went out to check out Seoul.
 The city is amazing.
There are coffee shops one after another.
There are many American food chains here: Starbucks, McDonalds,
Burger King,Outback,TGIF, On the Border, Taco Bell.
It is so werid seeing such restaurants here as I walk down the road.
I hope to find Chai soon somewhere because I am missing it like crazy.
We walked around for most of the day and went into several shops just poking around.

I finally meet my roommate that evening.
Her name is Monique and she is from the Netherlands.
Through her I have meet several other people from Europe.
Several times I have gotten a chance to go out with them and it has been great.
The first night, the topic of religion came up.
It was interesting to hear their beliefs and how different christianity looks in Europe.
We also talked about politics and the differences that exist on that topic.

 Orientation
They provided us with information for the rest of the week.
It was an overload of information.
Everything from alien registration to clubs that are offered on campus for international students.
The campus tour was helpful, however, the campus is still huge and I didn't get to see it all.
 Classes begin Friday..... AHH!

Today, we went on a tour of Gyeongbok Palace.
There we witnessed the changing of the guards ceremony and visited the National Folk Museum.
It was a beautiful people and another great chance to meet more people.
Overall, this week has been full of information and I have been kept busy.
My hope is to post pictures soon!
