In a winter wonderland

I just got back from Florida where I truly had an amazing time.
I had a unique opportunity to spend some time with a side of my family that I haven't seen in awhile.
I not only enjoyed being with them, but also was able to work with autistic children.
I learned about autism and the experience has me considering working with autistic children in the future.
The training that I received was on Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA) and will be very beneficial in the future.

The drive home was really quick.
My mom flew down to help me drive back and it was great having some company.
When we stopped for the night, we heard about the horrible accident on Interstate 75.
We were lucky to have taken another highway in that area.
My prayers go to those families as they are learning what really happened.

Now, let us focus on the weather for a second.
I was spoiled living in Florida for little over a month.
It is cold here in the mountains!
Winter in Seoul will be much colder.... I suppose I should get used to it again.

The time is quickly passing  and there is still so much to do.
I need to figure out what to pack.
I am so excited!

Friends and family, thank you for your support and following my blog.
I cannot wait to post pictures of Seoul and share my experiences with you.

arrival and departure set

My ticket has been bought and housing will be paid this week. Everything is falling into place and I am so excited to see what God has in store for me overseas. I am eager to get on the plane and stoked to see where I originated from. I am getting a little anxious because of my lack of studying Korean and all the things that have to happen prior to boarding the plane.  I actually have to pack all my clothes into only two suitcases. Its going to be crazy, but I can conquer it. No Big Deal ( quote from Jocelyn ;).

This past week was my first week at my new job. I really am enjoying it. I like working with the kids that I am working with and I really have learned a lot about autism.  A couple more weeks working with them and helping with their Art Festival and then I am back to the mountains.

My uncle and I have decided to do the pedaling for pathways together. I am excited to participate in it and bike along the beach. It will be on the 29th of January.

Ticket Information:
I will be departing  Feb 19th
and returning June 21st.
 I am so excited!

Student Visa - Check

Hello followers....
I am overwhelmed with excitement knowing that I have received my visa for Korea.
The next stressful thing is to look for tickets with reasonable prices and flexible return dates.
I am doing my best to not stress about it too much.
I will be heading to Korea in February, but in the mean time I am living in Florida.
Generously, my family is letting me stay with them.
I am getting ready to start a new job tomorrow at a school for Autism children.
They willingly hired me full-time for a month.
What a blessing.
I will continue to keep you posted as things unravel.

I am thankful for a new year!
My hope is that many blessings come your way.
